these are some very rough drafts of my poster for Wigs for Kids

  1. I think the second poster right now composition wise has the most potential. I can see how you could do a lot with the illustrated figure and hair. Look at art nouveau images of the women and their long flowing hair. But at the same time your image is reading to an older audience. you might need to incorporate a child in your illustration.

  2. Compositionally, I like the first and third ones the best, and if you put them with the nice CMYK color scheme that you have in the last one, they will look pretty awesome. I like the illustrative and childlike quality of all the drawn figures, they're very strong.

  3. I think that the second one has the most potential and gives you a lot of room to work with but the fourth one could have a more clean feel.

  4. I like the last two. The second to last one is actually my favorite. I think with colors this one could really stand out. I like the type placement between the scissors. maybe some descriptive words could be hidden in the hair that is falling down downdown. and maybe "wigs for kids" could be a bit bigger. neato

  5. My favorite would be the first one, I think that the composition is nice and I like the relationship you have created with the words and the image. I also like the scissors and the way they are used on the fourth one, but I am not sure about the falling hair. I also like the colors you are using in the lines of the last one because they are very playful, but I think I would showcase the colors more than the black because the poster should be more cheerful.

  6. I think if you incorporated the first one and the last one, you would find something a bit stronger. I enjoy the light-hearted illustrated quality. It appeals to the childrens needs, as well as trying to keep light a sad situation of why the kids need wigs to begin with.

  7. Wish I could see more color like in the last one (which I think is a nice idea but needs some space for text to help tell the viewer what the organization is about). Compositionally, 1 and 3 work best. They leave enough room for text and could potentially communicate better.

  8. I really like 3 and 5, especially since there is a lot more color in the 5th.

I really like the 3rd with the child with so much hair! I think if you could do a really awesome drawing of that concept, you could go far.

  9. I think that #2 has the most to work with. I like the curls of the hair and that could be a major design element. If you continue with the visual of scissors I would take their dominance down a "hair." lol But keep the visual of the flowing hair, it could keep your poster very interesting.
